On July 26, Quinta da Atela began another year of harvesting grapes. According to winemaker António Ventura, who was with us for this first harvest, the grapes are looking wonderful, even better than last year's harvest.
The first variety to be harvested was Pinot Noir, the base for our white sparkling wine. It showed grapes with a fantastic balance, with around 10.5/11 degrees of alcohol content. All these indicators point to another successful edition of this sparkling wine.
Quinta da Atela also invites you to a program dedicated to the grape harvest, with space to taste and try our wines, take a walk through the "moors" and even promises a musical lunch with the artist Maria Cristiano.
